Activation of French departments in EK

 

Date: 01/03/2024 To 03/11/2024.
The activations will start from Friday 1 March 2024 in the morning, until Sunday 3 November 2024 included. During this period, the stations will be regular: during the day, evening and/ or weekends according to the availability of each operator. See list attached.

Admission:
This activity is open to all hunter operators of departments, regardless of their group membership.

But:
The goal is to activate different French departments on the air;
And to give the opportunity to operators EK and not EK to confirm different French departments.
At the same time, there will be “a challenge of the French departments” in EK.
Therefore, we will have activators in EK and hunters EK and not EK.

The callsign:
All callsign will be composed as follows:
EXAMPLE : 14 EK/ D 66 – The “D” for Department, followed by two numbers will represent the Department Number activated on the air.

Contact Confirmations:
Each contact and each department will be confirmed by a special E-QSl dedicated to this subject.
So there will be a different E-QSl for each department.
For technical reasons and convenience, all exchanges of E-Qsl will imperatively via
DXcluster at https://clusterdx.nl
To do this, to be able to carry out the exchanges of E-QLs, hunters who will take ITL contacts on the 14EK/DXX,… will have to log on their personal account of the cluster, and enter their contacts on the cluster and not the callsign 14EK/ DXX, but only the personal callsign of the operator who activates 14EK/ DXX.
Example: 26PT120 contacts 14 EK/ D66 which is activated by 14 EK092 Xavier , 26PT120 must imperatively log the contact under the callsign 14EK092 Xavier to be able to exchange and receive the EQsl of the 14EK/D66, etc., … it will be the same for other 14EK/DXX etc.

List of departments (+/-22):
To date, the official list of departments activated will be: D02, D15, D16, D17, D19, D23, D26, D33, D34, D47, D59, D62, D63, D64, D65, D66, D67, D83, D84, D87, D88 and D94.
In the meantime, other departments could be added. In this case, the list will be updated!

Challenge of EK departments:

In addition to EQsl, there will be a ranking of the operators who have contacted the most 14EK/DXX EK operators and not EK. A ranking will be established, and the lucky winners will receive an electronic diploma and other surprises.
